Feelings

On a warm breezy day,

Even Slough can be beautiful.

And in the right mood,

Death has an artistic appeal.

Yes - feelings rule the roost.

They are the prisms 

Through which we see the world.

They paint the hues and tones

Of the social and natural environments.

And even determine what's right and wrong, 

True and false.

Feelings control us.
They tell us what to say,
How to react,
And what to do.
Feelings lead us in particular directions.
They display themselves in all situations.
