Human Animals

Animals are what they are.

They don't do pretence...

Oh, there is some deceit, sure; though little.

Still, they are what they are.

No more. No less.

It's human beings who decieve.

Who portray false selves.

And all the time 
Animalistic needs or wants

Are hidden under flowery words, pretence and lies.

Yes, we humans are more animal than animals.

We network for friends,

Spasm at difference,

And torture for the hell of it.
